Montgomery Announces Leaf Pick-Up Service

The Village of Montgomery Public Works Department will be offering leaf pick-up service beginning mid-October and running through mid-November.  Leaves must be neatly rakes on the parkway along the curb by 7 am on Monday of each week.

Leaf piles should NOT be placed in the street as they can clog sewer drains, and cannot include grass clippings or sticks. Do not place leaves behind parked cars, mailboxes, or refuse containers, as they will interfere with the collection of leaves.  Leaves should not be placed in bags unless intended for collection by Allied Waste.  Please remember that leaf burning is prohibited by Village ordinance.

For more information, please contact the Public Works Department at 630-896-9241.
